It is SO much easier to access your intuition when you can identify the place from which your intuition is speaking AND the ways in which it is speaking to you.
]]>Growing up I always sensed my intuition was strong. How to access it though, that was a mystery.
When I would run into people who could see auras or hear guides, I would write myself off as being less intuitive. I didn't know how to place what I sensed or articulate it to others.
Then one day that changed.
I began to connect with the way I experienced intuitive impressions. It's easy to see now that part of the struggle to arrive at this clarity was to discover a process that I could share with others.
It is SO much easier to access your intuition when you can identify the place from which your intuition is speaking AND the ways in which it is speaking to you.
In today’s video, I share exciting connections I’ve made with identifying primary discernment centers and the intuitive indicators associate with each.
Check it out!
I am psyched to talk intuition with you and before we get started, make sure you have a pen and piece of paper close by. No seriously, grab it now!
When you think of intuition and what an intuitive is, what comes up for you? Go ahead and take a moment to pause, breathe and write out the 3 things that you associate with being intuitive.
Pause this video until you have those 3 things written down!
Here’s my take on intuition:
I perceive it to be a deep inner knowing and compass. It acts as a guide to help us navigate our inner and outer worlds with courage, honesty and authenticity. When we are open and willing to listen, intuition is a force that is always inviting us into deeper alignment with ourselves. It is the language of our personal truths and it can be really hard to hear at times. And I mean hard to hear because we can’t clearly identify what it’s saying AND hard to hear because what it’s saying is not what we actually WANT to hear.
There are 2 ways in which intuition can speak:
Loud and crystal clear
Subtle and quiet
Typically, it’s the subtle, more quiet ways that are hard to interpret.
Like all things in life, we have natural strengths and talents. It’s not different when it comes to intuition. Identifying the chakra or energy center that your natural intuitive strengths reside can be very helpful. I call this your dominant discernment center. This is the energy center that speaks the clearest. It can be a great place to begin or continue and most definitely the place to accelerate your intuitive journey.
In order to support you in this process, I’ve created a pretty awesome quiz that will help you identify your primary discernment center aka the highly sensitive and intuitive chakra to begin working with intentionally.
To find out which type of intuitive you are, complete my quiz here.
Be sure to share this quiz with all your friends because it’s cool but more importantly than that, it’s super insightful!

Today’s convo is focused on embodiment, taking up space in your physical body. If you’re not in your body, guess what? You’re not helping.
Before working with being IN your body and being grounded, it can be easier to connect with being ungrounded.
]]>Today’s convo is focused on embodiment, taking up space in your physical body. If you’re not in your body, guess what? You’re not helping.
Before working with being IN your body and being grounded, it can be easier to connect with being ungrounded.
One of the most common ungrounded presentations is…….
Hovering!
You will want to know if you do this (chances are you do).
In this video you’ll learn what hovering is, why it matters and how to work with it.
My personal practices in life and all of my professional practices come back to…….being grounded! Before you do ANYTHING, you must look at where your energy is.
And guess what?
If you’re not taking up space in your physical body. If your energy and awareness is not present in your physical body, you are not grounded.
So if we really simplify things, we can break it down into being grounded and not being ungrounded. We can break it down into having your awareness be present in your physical body and your awareness not being present in your physical body.
Grounding often is associated with being calm, or relaxed or a general sense of “down to earth.” While all of these can be expressions of a person who is grounded and inhabiting their physical body with their energy and presence, it’s not necessarily a direct translation. For example, movement can be a super effective way to ground. However, think of times where you have gone to a yoga class and walked out completely altered with your head in the clouds, not even aware of your body below.
Which leads us into this specific type and energetic presentation of an ungrounded state. There are many ungrounded states but today I’m speaking to HOVERING.
What is hovering?
Hovering happens when you are hanging out above your physical body. It can create a sensation of looking down at yourself. From the way I relate to it, your energy remains connected to your physical body but your awareness is most definitely in the clouds.
So why does this matter?
Well, for so many reasons. To truly be embodied, to truly be present, we must be in our physical bodies. This is where we manifest energy into form. This is where the magic happens.
When our energy remains outside of our body a lot can go down. For one, you become more susceptible to all sorts of crap, physically and energetically. For example, it’s easier to become drained, sick and overwhelmed when you are not present in your body.
Really, it all begins and comes back to grounding. And in the beginning, this can actually be the hardest step, which is why I want to shout how important it is on this intuitive journey.
In upcoming videos, I will speak more to how to actually ground but believe it or not I’ve found it to be helpful in a grounding practice to first learn how to identify when you are NOT grounded.
So next time you catch yourself hovering, I want you to take note of these two things:
What stands out about your internal and/or external environment?
Does something feel uncomfortable or even unsafe about the situation?
THEN! Next time you find yourself in a similar space, place or situation, can you practice noticing where your energy is before it uproots?
To bringing it down,
Alexis
Solar plexus sensitivity is a real deal psychic skill. It is way overlooked as a critical point for intuitive development.
Many people who navigate life through the lens of the gut take on endless energy from others and their environment. It is a vulnerable place after all.
]]>If you’ve been following the Chakredy® work for a while, this may be a term that you’ve heard me refer to over the years.
Solar plexus sensitivity is a real deal psychic skill. It is way overlooked as a critical point for intuitive development.
Many people who navigate life through the lens of the gut take on endless energy from others and their environment. It is a vulnerable place after all.
Just remember that the thing that is your most vulnerable point, is oftentimes your most intuitive.
It’s worth learning more about this energy center. Trust me. It has the potential to change your experience as a sensitive person.
Plus, I’m sharing my free workshop on solar plexus sensitivity that I did a while back!
Do you get caught up in intuitive comparison? Have you told yourself your intuition isn’t as clear or as good as someone else’s?
Be honest!
I have, big time.
I used to judge myself so hard for not seeing auras or hearing guides. I expected information to come through in ways it did for other people. I wanted it to follow an established formula. I wanted a clear vision and a clear voice…..
When I tapped into my solar plexus vortex, I realized I had to create that formula myself. Over many years of exploration and integration, insight revealed itself.
The solar plexus is an incredibly intuitive energy center. In fact, there is a specific type of intuition it embodies. I call it solar plexus sensitivity.
So-lar Plex-us Sen-si-tiv-ity
The ability to perceive intuitive information through the solar plexus. People who primarily experience energy from this place have a heightened ability to sense the energy of others and their environment.
With the great insights that the solar plexus can provide, it is also very vulnerable. If you would like to learn more about solar plexus sensitivity and how to support your third chakra check out my previously recorded workshop called Solar Plexus Sensitivity: How to Avoid Third Chakra Burnout.

To that amazing light within,

We all perceive energy differently.
Years ago, I realized that one of the ways I experience energy is through sensing how it moves through and around the body. I can visually and verbally articulate these energetic breakdowns through years of practice.
One of the invaluable gifts of the Chakredy® work is the vocabulary and context it provides for energy.
Today, I’m sharing the way that I perceive the energy of authenticity.
When you connect with the way you experience something in your own energy and physical body, it is much easier to call upon it and return to that space. So let’s get out of our heads and into our bodies to experience authenticity!
Ready to claim it?
I’ll show you how!
Today we are going to break it down, energetically. Specifically, I’ll be speaking to energy that I perceive to be associated with the solar plexus. One thing I’ve noticed over time is that it is much easier to return to a specific energy or really be in that energy and embody it fully when you can perceive it clearly.
Like all things, I can only share from the way that I perceive and experience this energy. And today, we are talking about AUTHENTICITY. How many times have you heard someone say just be YOU, or be authentic in your choices?
Ok, well, sometimes it can be challenging to know what is authentic to you, especially if there is a lot of clutter happening at the solar plexus chakra (we’ve already touched on solar plexus sensitivity and third chakra burnout which can factor in muddling solar plexus energy big time!).
So here is the way that I relate to the ENERGY of authenticity.
Authenticity is a magnified expression of self. It is the anchoring and radiating energy of the solar plexus, like compassion for the heart. Connection with self at the deepest level is the connection with the soul. Authenticity can be expressed internally and externally. It expands at the back and the front of the abdomen, in all directions.
See if you can connect with authenticity as a seed, an anchor of the soul in your physical body, right at the solar plexus. As this expression of self radiates out in all directions, it creates a container to be held in and also return to whenever in doubt about what is true for YOU.
Practice
I invite you to connect with the energy of authenticity and see where does it surface for you? What are some descriptors that you can associate with it? Get out a piece of paper and take notes on what you perceive. This is extremely helpful in learning how to articulate what it is you are experiencing intuitively.
To your core essence, your authentic self,
Alexis
Our intuition speaks in many ways. SO many ways.
Many times we don’t realize the things we’re experiencing are actually intuitive signals.
It’s fun to break it down by chakra. So today we work with the root.
One way the root chakra may be talking is through this thing I call the body pop.
What is the body pop all about?
Check out this week’s video to learn more about it!
Do you ever get caught up in intuitive comparison? Have you told yourself your intuition isn’t as clear or as good as someone else’s?
Be honest!
I have, big time.
I used to judge myself so hard for not seeing auras or hearing guides. I expected information to come through in ways it did for other people. I wanted it to follow an established formula. I wanted a clear vision and a clear voice…..
In this video I want to share with you 1 way that you may be experiencing psychic information via an underrecognized route:
And that is… You pop out of your body!
One way that your intuition may be flagging you is through showing you when you ARE and ARE NOT grounded in your physical body. If you walk into a place and immediately you realize you are not in your body and you are hovering (check out my post on hovering) this is an intuitive indicator. This is actually a psychic marker that something is off either in your own energy and the way you are responding to something, an exchange that you are a part of or an environment that is just really testing you.
Please know that when these things happen it’s not because another person has horrible energy (ok sometimes it can be this) or your surroundings are just SO toxic (well, sometimes this is true). BUT I want to emphasize that all of these markers help to illustrate ways in which you can develop your own awareness and intuitive skills and when you begin working with them. They are in fact psychic markers. YES, they are.
To reeling it in,
Alexis
One of the coolest ways that you can begin working with energy immediately, is through sensing energy in the hands.
The first time I connected with this, I thought it was the coolest thing in the world. Now a whole series of specific sensations have made their way into a Chakredy® context that I teach others.
Want to strengthen your energetic abilities right this second?
Here’s what you’ll learn in today’s video:
-How to sense energy in the hands
-How to connect with the specific sensation of tingling
-What the tingling sensation may suggest energetically
-How to apply this to yourself and to others
Time to get to magic work!
Yay! I love teaching this. Over the years I’ve found that learning how to connect with sensation in the hands can help to strengthen the connection with pendulums. Of course, this observation has been specific to the Chakredy® work but I feel can be related across the board.
Today, I’m going to teach you:
1. How to sense energy in the hands
2. How to connect with the specific sensation of tingling
3. What the tingling sensation may suggest energetically
4. How to apply this to yourself and to others
Step 1: How to sense energy in the hands
To increase sensitivity in the hands, rub them together and use your thumb to press on the center of each palm. Begin bringing your hands closer together and further apart until you sense a sphere-like presence of energy, like an invisible energy ball.
Step 2: connect with the specific sensation of tingling
Instruct the energy to reveal the specific sensation of tingling in the hands. Practice allowing this sensation to come through and noticing it as an observer present in your body. Practice sitting back in your energy and experiencing it if you have a tendency to get fixated in the head.
Step 3: What tingling may suggest energetically
Tingling may be one of the first sensations you notice when you begin sensing energy in the hands. It can be one of the more prominent sensations to experience as well.
This tingling or subtle buzzing maybe suggest that an initial connection is being made. This sensation can suggest that you have established an initial connection with an energy. It can also suggest that you are picking up on energy outside of your own.
Step 4: How to apply this to yourself and to others
Once you have connected with this sensation in the hands, see if you can use one hand to scan your body. Let’s focus on the upper body. Do you notice this sensation dissipate or become more prominent over different areas of the body? Are there any associations that you make with this?
Then! Try this with a partner.
Place your hands over a partner’s energy field. Notice if you experience tingling.
Where does the tingling increase or decrease? Check in with your partner. Is this significant to the person’s current physical and/or energetic experience?
Hope this was fun for you. I know it was fun for me!
To immediate gratification and the mad energy skills that come with!
Alexis
As someone who teaches other people to develop their intuitive abilities, I often witness the intellect being referred to with disregard, deep frustration and even hostility. I get it. When we’ve been trained to highly develop one aspect of ourselves and then struggle to access and strengthen the other, it makes sense that conflict would arise.
One of the coolest things about working with Chakredy® is that it functions to integrate the intellect with the intuition. It has been amazing to witness the profound healing that happens when we begin to work with both. Why not initiate that healing process today?
People get really stuck trying to discern a thought from an intuitive impression. Well, in this video I share one of the most effective ways I’ve learned to work with exactly this. Let’s talk about the energetic difference between the intellect and the intuition so that you can know which is which!
Wishing all sorts of exciting connections for you!
Today we are talking about Intellect vs. Intuition which is a massive topic in itself. In fact, In the energy world, people often feel they have to claim one or the other. We do not have to pick sides. In fact, our intuitive abilities become refined skills when we can apply our intellect and our intellectual process is supported when we allow our intuition to flow.
So how do we know which one is talking? How many times have you heard someone say, just trust your gut, follow your intuition, listen to that voice inside….?? Ok, but what does that really mean??!!
Over the years I have been asked this question by many women: How do I discern the difference between my intellect and my intuition?
I’ve found the response that tends to land the most often lies in learning how to discern the energetic difference between the two. So that’s what we are going to do in this video.
As with anything, I can only share things from my perspective, so this is how I relate to the energies of the intellect and intuition which are both housed by the third eye energy center, located right between your eyebrows:
INTELLECT ENERGY
You may notice that when you are stuck in the mind, that the front of your head is almost buzzing. This can be a great indicator, that yes, you are in the intellect
INTUITION ENERGY
Notice the next time an intuitive impression comes through for you. How does it land and how do you feel in your body when it happens. It can be something that is relatively simple or profound. Acknowledge it either way.
Here’s the deal:
People can get derailed trying to discern a thought from an intuitive impression, which, guess what? Further locks you into the mind and prevents intuitive information from flowing freely and clearly. Notice if this is you now trying to grasp the concepts I’ve just shared. If so, pause, take a breath and bring your awareness and attention to how it feels for you to connect with the intellect and how it feels for you to connect with your intuition. Allow yourself to sense it and experience it in your body.
Can you connect any of the qualities mentioned with the intellect? Can you connect some of these qualities with the intuition? Write those down. What stands out to you and pay attention to where you get stuck.
When you can discern the energetic difference between the intellect and the intuition, it is much easier to work with these dynamic forces in harmony because we need both. While a harmonious relationship between the intellect and intuition does not necessarily make life EASIER, it can help you navigate daily life and those big-time challenges with a greater sense of trust and ease.
For the love of it all,
Alexis
Fun observation:
Many highly-intellectual people present as third eye dominant intuitively. If you want to see which energy center (aka chakra) is your dominant discernment center, check out my free quiz HERE.
]]>Can you remember the last dream you had?
Whether that dream seemed mundane or profound, it contained something for you. To tap into whatever your dreams do contain, you must begin by paying attention.
We tend to write dreams off as just being dreams. When we do this, we are less likely to connect with their healing potential, messages, and meanings.
My dreams have provided me with everything from next steps in business to profound healing insight, to psychic warnings and visitations from passed loved ones. The dreamscape continues to be one of the most exciting and potent avenues of my intuition.
It may be this way for you too!
Like your intuition, nobody can tell you what your dreams mean for you. That is a context and language that you must develop for yourself. Today, I want to support you in this process.
I’ve always known that I was a dreamer but I never understood the healing messages my dreams contained for others until I began working with dreams intentionally and sharing them with others. Simply acknowledging my dreams through journaling and speaking them out loud began to enhance my dreaming abilities. By honoring them they evolved.
Over many years I have cultivated these inherent abilities, formed my own dreamscape context and have had the opportunity to experience the medicine that dreams offer (for myself and for others).
Most of the incredible dreamers that I've connected with did not initially feel their dreaming abilities were anything special.
Well, think again!
Dreams are a form of intuitive information. It is important that we develop a context to place our intuitive impressions-that goes for dream impressions as well.
Simple ways that you can develop your dreaming abilities:
Keep a Dream Journal
Write your dreams down and reread them often.
Connect with a Dream Buddy
To cultivate and strengthen your dreaming abilities it is very helpful to have a dream buddy, someone that you can check in with and share the information and insight you gather from your dreams.
Establish Your Own Dream Context
Rather than looking at books or another person to tell you what your dreams mean, begin tracking how you feel when you wake up from a dream. Write down connections that come to you naturally about the dream.
Dream on,
Alexis
This is such an exciting topic and one that is very near and dear to my heart!
It took me years of navigating the energy realm to establish a language for these concepts. Now they have become a foundation for all the Chakredy® work.
Establishing awareness around this sometimes obvious, sometimes subtle difference is HUGE. If you work in any type of healing capacity, you are going to want to check this video out!
It’s time to talk about the energetic difference between reading and perceiving. Energy peeps often use the term read for various types of intuitive work. For example, giving a card reading, offering an intuitive reading. There is nothing wrong with the word read, I want to clarify that. What I am speaking to is what I experience as the energetic difference between reading and perceiving.
So let’s dive right into the Chakredy® definition of reading.
Reading
When I connect with the term reading, reading energy, it implies more of a projection into another person’s energy to gain insight and information.
Many intuitives “read” energy unintentionally. Again, referring to reading as a process where you are projecting into another person’s energy to access information.
When you are on the receiving end of this it can feel violating. A hard read can feel like a bombardment, someone taking a serious dive into your field and digging around in it.
Have you ever had someone tell you something about yourself that just made you think, hey! I don’t want that person diving into my stuff?
Two people can share the same piece of information and one can feel grounded, compassionate and resonant and another can feel invasive, off and violating.
So let’s break it down.
Reading
When you are reading another person’s energy you project forward. You may notice your physical body leaning forward. You may also experience this as concentrated or focused energy projecting from your head/third eye into the other person’s energy field.
This is how you may connect with it in yourself and it is also how you can identify this in another person.
Perceiving
When you perceive energy you remain grounded and clear in your own energy field to connect with and observe another person’s energy.
You invite the energy and information to come to you rather than diving in and grabbing at it for yourself.
Perceiving feels grounded, connected and compassionate. You can sense the space being held by a person that perceives, it is all-encompassing. It may feel like being held in a supportive bubble.
So let’s put these concepts to practice!
Practice
Write down one experience where you have been on the receiving end of being read. How did it make you feel?
Write down one experience where you have been on the receiving end of being perceived. How did it make you feel?
Write down one experience where you were the reader of someone else’s energy. How did the person on the receiving end respond? How did you feel in your body?
Write down one experience where you were the perceiver. How did the person on the receiving end respond? How did you feel in your body?
Whether you are applying these concepts to navigating your personal life or your professional practice in some type of healing capacity, embodying the ability to perceive energy is powerful. It supports you and your personal energy because reading can drain you and others AND it creates the space for healing when you can apply this to working with others.
Awareness is the most profound tool you have to initiate shifts. Can’t wait to hear about your connections!
Have a blast!
Alexis
Today I’m sharing my perspective on one of the most common questions I get from new Chakredy® Students.
Do I need verbal permission to do energy work?
This is a great question and you might be surprised by my response.
The topic of verbal permission opens up a much deeper conversation around energy ethics and invites us to get in clear dialogue with the ego.
If you’ve wondered about this yourself, check out some of what this question highlights in the video.
One of the most common questions I get from new students in the Chakredy® training framework, is do I need to have verbal permission to work with someone else’s energy?
This is a great question and I don’t perceive the answer as a plain yes or no.
I will say that I’ve seen people get hung up on verbal permission like it’s the end all be all in energy work. Permission is important BUT I see it as being rooted in energy ethics.
Being ethical in the energy is not as simple as just getting verbal permission and then going and doing whatever you want. To me, this way oversimplifies energy work and the integrity of energy healing practitioners.
My response to whether or not you need verbal permission to work with someone else’s energy is, IT DEPENDS.
For energetic assessments (using the Chakredy® work as an example), we are looking at how a person’s energy presents. This provides a snapshot of the energy and does not involve DOING anything TO the energy, In this case, I do not feel verbal permission is required in all cases.
I do think verbal permission can be helpful because it has the potential to create space for powerful conversations and of course, healing. However, if you are planning to do energy work on a person where there is any type of altering a person’s energy, this more likely warrants verbal permission.
When I say “alter” I mean doing something intentionally to change something in another person’s energy, which includes adding to, taking away or adjusting aka healings, activations, removal of anything (which I don’t totally support this in the popular sense anyway) and clearings
So let’s talk about another layer of this.
Let’s say you get verbal permission but you don’t actually get energetic permission.
In the Chakredy® work, we use pendulums to reveal whether we are connected with another person’s energy or not. Although it is rare, a person may provide verbal permission but then the person’s energy is not open to receiving any type of energy work. If that’s the case, it means that the session is a no-go.
I believe this must be honored. If the person’s energy is not ready for the energy work, that is that. You can explore what that is all about with the person but overriding this will not get anyone anywhere.
As a general rule, most people are open to experiencing healing energy (I mean…..of course they are) and I’m talking the person’s higher self not ego receptivity. It is rarer that I encounter someone who is energetically not open to receiving an assessment or energy work.
Here’s the thing. Permission to work with another person is tied in with where you are coming from and the true place of where you desire to connect, assess, or DO/HEAL is coming from.
Ok, so time to get super honest with yourself. If you are asking yourself if you have permission from someone who you don’t feel comfortable asking verbal permission from or aren’t in a position to do that, I want you to ask yourself these things:
Helpful things to look at:
What is your true intention?
Are you clear in your own energy?
Do you feel you are attached to the outcome or information that connecting with this person’s energy?
Is your desire to do something coming from a place of fear? (be super, honest-just with yourself, you don’t have to report back to me about it and the energy police will not come after you, I promise).
If you are being motivated by fear, lack, insecurity, envy, anger this does not make you a bad person. it is, however, very important to recognize this So check in with yourself an ask yourself where that is coming from.
We are all on an inner journey with important work to do. We all move through the spectrum of energy and emotion. Being in direct communication with our shadow is the best way to embody an ethical energy practice. Getting to know all parts of ourselves in healing and empowering.
To the deep stuff,
Alexis
Have you ever considered that the throat chakra could be intuitive?
Well, let me say, it is.
Not only is the throat intuitive but it may just be one of the most sensitive centers of discernment.
Ready to explore 3 of the most common throat chakra indicators (aka ways in which your throat chakra is speaking to you)? Well then, you won’t want to miss this video!
The throat chakra is not typically considered one of the more intuitive chakras. Interestingly enough though, I’ve realized over time just how sensitive and dialed in this energy center is.
I have some thoughts around why this is but rather than go down the rabbit hole of all the reasons why your throat is intuitive, I’d like to share some of the ways throat chakra intuition presents.
The 3 most common intuitive indicators of the throat chakra
#1 Throat chakra flares
This can be an inflammatory response at the throat, tonsils swelling, irritated gums, a sore throat. These little or big flares can point to something that is being stifled or is stuck in this energy center. So pay to attention to them!
#2 Voice fluctuations
The voice can fluctuate when your intuition is talking. It can suggest a variety of things. What it MEANS when your voice fluctuates is up to you to discover but know that it is most definitely a powerful intuitive indicator and can often arise when something initiates some type of fear response in you.
Track this when it happens. Remember that this intuitive indicator invites you to uncover the unique way in which your intuition is communicating with you.
#3 Censoring
When we do not feel confident or safe, to stand fully in who we are and how we express ourselves, we oftentimes censor what we say. I invite you to look at where you censor yourself and with who. This could be dramatic censoring, where you speak like a completely different person OR it could be more subtle where you notice yourself removing certain words from your vocabulary. If you really sit with this, you may be surprised to notice where you censor yourself, it can show up around people you really like. Censoring invites you to be more honest with yourself and the energetic exchanges in your life.
To powerful connections being made!
Cheers,
Alexis
Today I am SO excited to speak to triggers!
Instead of fixating on what is triggering, I’ve found that one of the most empowering ways to work with triggers is to identify how you are responding to triggers in your own energy.
What does that entail? This video will take you through that exact process!
Get ready for some awesome practice around triggers!
Triggers.
We all get triggered and being triggered can manifest in many ways. It can show up as anger, rage, hostility, retraction, despair. Essentially, being triggered initiates a reaction in you to something. It is the charge that you experience in your body, most often in response to something external. For example, we’re typically triggered by situations, other people’s actions, other people’s words.
Triggers can easily create a cascade of toxicity, so rather than doing the inner work around why it is that you are being triggered in the first place, there is a tendency to remove the thing creating a trigger or to blame the person or circumstance that is creating that response in you.
A powerful way to approach working with triggers is to see them as highlighting aspects of your own energy that are calling for your awareness and attention.
Like all things energy and intuition, it’s helpful to have a structure and a context to place impressions. This way you are more able to make sense of what it is that you’re experiencing.
Getting triggered doesn’t just happen when you bump up against something negative. In fact, the deepest triggers tend to come from something that presents externally as positive that initiates some type of uncomfortable energetic response in you.
Practice
Go ahead and connect with an experience where you were clearly triggered. Take the time to go back to that moment and see if you can identify exactly where that energy landed for you in your body.
What emotion did you experience when you were triggered?
Where in your body did you experience this emotion?
Articulate to the best of your ability the way in which this emotion stayed with you or moved through you. Did it get suppressed? Did it rise? Did it move out through lashing out? Get specific
Once you can connect with where energy lands for you, it is much easier to notice where you are being triggered in your energy and then choose to manage how your energy responds as a result.
When we choose to take responsibility for our own energy, we choose to heal.
Hope you have fun!
Alexis
Have you ever felt less intuitive than someone else? Been there. Done that. I can’t tell you how many times I would get so frustrated with myself that I didn’t hear guides or see auras.
Here’s the deal. We’re all intuitive. It’s inherent. We come into the world with the ability to sense and perceive energy. Through conditioning and survival, this natural ability is often disconnected from, overridden or shut down.
With the evolution of the Chakredy® System, I’ve found that providing a framework and context to place intuitive impressions is one of the most effective ways to support others in strengthening their natural intuitive abilities. It helps people establish their own intuitive language.
Once you can articulate and place the impressions that you experience, these abilities are revived and can be strengthened into a killer skill set.
Ready to learn more?
Check out this week’s video!
The word intuition is often used in a very non-specific, vague way that implies it is elusive, sometimes trustworthy and only for the few to uncover and truly embody.
While we ALL are intuitive and have the ability to connect with our intuition, we oftentimes need to learn how to access it, how to establish a context for it and learn how to develop it into a refined SKILL. When we have a general structure and framework to place intuitive impressions, we can make sense of them. When our mind has the opportunity to make sense of something, it is less likely that we will override that information.
Not paying attention, not listening and ultimately overriding intuitive information, often comes from not knowing that the intuition is speaking in the first place. It is much easier to connect with intuitive impressions that are strong, loud and crystal clear.
For example, if you get super creeped out walking outside at night and everything in your body, tells you to go back inside or to walk the other way, you are more likely to pay attention.
However, when you experience a very subtle impression, such as a tingling sensation at the throat, right before you have a conversation with someone, where do you think that will lead? When intuitive impressions do not have a context, it’s much harder to know what is being spoken to you.
Over the years, this has evolved to be exactly what I teach, what I train other practitioners to do. I help them develop a context to place their intuitive impressions and to connect with their primary intuitive indicators and dominant discernment centers (aka chakras).
What is an intuitive indicator?
This is the way in which intuitive information comes through for you. Maybe it’s a clear vision, a stomach flip, a tingling sensation, a heart palpitation. There are thousands of ways, thousands of intuitive indicators that make up the unique language of your intuition.
What is a Primary Discernment Center?
It wasn’t that long ago that uncovered this incredible discovery. It was right in front of me all along but it took me years to see it and that is that every single energy center/chakra is intuitive. Every single chakra is discerning. Identifying which chakra is your primary discernment center, can support you in unpacking some of your primary intuitive indicators. When you connect with the intuitive indicators that speak most clearly to you, then it is much easier to begin establishing a context to place these impressions.
It has been from my experience, that we all need to develop our own context because intuition does not come through in the same way for every person. Developing your unique context is like creating your own intuitive dictionary. And how cool is that?
Practice
I encourage you to invite 3 intuitive impressions to make themselves clear this week. Notice how they come through when they come through and if they are connected with a specific area of your body. Write them down and record what it is that you connect with them.

Let's talk hypersensitivity.
Many people go through a phase of hypersensitivity when connecting with their intuitive gifts (I know I did) and it can serve a very important purpose.
Hypersensitivity invites you to examine your response to your own thoughts, emotions, energy and how you interact with others and your environment. It can highlight areas within your own body, system, and life to actively work with.
When hypersensitivity dominates as an excuse to deny, avoid and dismiss parts of yourself, your relationships and your life, it can isolate, create severe dysfunction, and ultimately foster indifference.
Hypersensitivity does a good job masking itself as enlightened, spiritual and aligned. If you sit with it truthfully, you will see it for what it is.
Check out this week's video!
Today I’m talking to you about how hypersensitivity is NOT the goal and I repeat NOT the goal.
Chakredy® tends to be a bit unconventional and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I am a rebel and a maverick at heart. I want to encourage you to question what you come into contact with. Skepticism is healthy. It ignites discernment and ultimately can facilitate the deepening into what you already know to be true, aka your intuition.
When we set out on this inner journey and connect with our intuitive abilities, we can come into contact with an entire realm of energy. And it IS a realm. It can be like opening up the floodgates. So much can come through. It can bombard you and it can be quite overwhelming. I have been there and I definitely understand the energy behind stepping into this work and the realm of it all. Oftentimes, it can be so intense that it feels like an initiation.
To me, it makes sense that there would be a phase of hypersensitivity. The key word here is PHASE, a period of time where you would have a heightened reaction to things because you don’t quite know how to engage with them and manage your own energy yet with these newly discovered connections, abilities, and awareness. Therefore, it manifests as overwhelm to your energy and ultimately can affect your physical body.
The thing to watch out for with hypersensitivity is that it does NOT perpetuate toxic ways of being in the world, for yourself, others and this beautiful planet.
I perceive hypersensitivity to be an epidemic. I am not denying toxic relationships, toxic food, toxic thoughts, toxic practices or a toxic environment. I want you to question though, where it is that your behavior, your energy, and your actions might be toxic. Where is it that you may need to learn how to manage your energy differently? Chances are this can reflect a new inner reality that is highlighting the need for you to be grounded, meaning be present in your physical body, establish and maintain clear boundaries and learn how to discern your energy from other energy.
When we deepen into our intuitive abilities and expand our awareness, it creates resilience and restores health. It supports a healing process, that is complex and layered and oftentimes involves a period of heightened sensitivity to all people, things, and places. But please, PLEASE be mindful as you navigate the territory of hypersensitivity. Be mindful of where it is not only encouraged but praised. Be mindful of where it creates a status, an identity and an excuse to not have to deal with the patterns and dynamics that are part of life, which include the light AND the dark.
Hypersensitivity can feed into identifying as a victim and not having to take responsibility for the ways in which you are affected by the world and the ways in which you show up in the world. You and only you can respond to your inner world. So I invite you to show up and do the work. It is challenging and magical and deeply meaningful.
There is a perfectionism and purity model that can usually be identified as THE WAY, THE PATH, THE DIET, THE MODALITY, THE ONLY THING THAT WILL EVERY MAKE YOU HEALTHY AND HAPPY. It is something to approach with honesty, self-compassion, and awareness. And like all things, humor is helpful.
To sensitivity as a strength!

Ready to face the drain of your own wear and tear?
You might be surprised where it is that these leaks surface and just how far back they go.
So let’s take a deep dive in to explore the realm of the slow drain.
Energy leaks come in many forms and can originate from various areas of our energy field in response to people, places, things, thoughts, emotions.
There is so much to explore around energy leaks but today I want to speak to a type of leak that is more subtle and often goes undetected because of it’s sneaky, slow drain.
I term chronic subtle leak a worn presentation. A worn leak is one that can take years to get your attention.
They occur from wear and tear and can often manifest in response to a repetitive and toxic loop. This loop could be physical, mental, emotional or spiritual.
I want to give you examples of each:
Physical example
You overdo it physically and have for some time. You excessively exercise and don’t listen to your body. This loop of excess and repetition creates a wear and tear from the inside out. It eventually establishes an energy leak on the physical layer. This can show up as chronic pain or a chronic physical issue in the area where the leak resides.
Mental example
You find yourself stuck in a toxic thought pattern where you are constantly over analyzing a decision around keeping or leaving your job. You think about this all of the time and do not take action but remain in the mental trap of what you should do. This creates a worn leak on the mental layer.
Emotional example
You have stifled your frustration around a behavior with your partner. Everytime you see the behavior, you experience the frustration in your body but do nothing about it to change your response. You defer back to that same emotional pattern over and over again that creates a chronic depletion over time on the emotional layer.
Spiritual example
You feel a strong pull to fully claim your purpose doing healing work in the world. As much as you know this to be true, you’re afraid of what devoting yourself to that purpose would fully entail. Denying this divine guidance creates a resistance on the spiritual layer that ultimately manifests as a chronic, worn leak.
Practice
Like all things energy and intuition, the power resides in awareness. Go ahead and take some time to connect with the chronic and subtle energy leaks that are calling for your attention now.
Write them down.
Where do they show up for you?
Who do they show up in relationship to?
What can you notice and take action to help you shift this pattern?
Commit to practicing awareness around 1 worn energy leak for an entire week.
Notice your energy level now as you connect with this leak.
Practice your awareness and take action to shift the pattern if an action is clear.
Report back to yourself 1 week later to see how your energy responds to facing this leak head on. Do you feel different after developing your awareness around this leak?
.......
Know that while I won’t be patching up anything for you (that is your work to do!), I will be guiding you through a process to connect with the aspects of your life that are creating these leaks. The cool part is, when you can clearly identify something then you can clearly address it!
The power resides within,
Alexis
